NOVEMBER K BEAUTY MUST OR BUST? - FACE WASHES

Yesterday I finally got my iHerb order delivered. I have previously mentioned my curiosity with K Beauty and that I wanted to introduce some new products in to my skin routine. I have tried a "modified" version of the 10 step routine and have liked it so far. And what's the modification you think? Well I haven't yet added ampoules and essences in to the routine but have used the bits that I already have (double cleanse, toner, serum, face-mask, eye cream and moisturiser) And I actually really like it! Oh, and it's kind of fun.

So I have tried most of the products already, because every time I get new products I lose my mind and can't contain to rip open everything. To not write the longest post ever, but still be able to talk about what I got, I was thinking about doing a series of reviews. And today we are talking face washes. I got two different ones, one is a oil balm cleanser and the other one is a foamy milk cleanser.

Banila Co. - Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm

This product is raved about within the beauty community as a holy grail cleanser. It looks fairly solid in the jar, but as soon as you scoop it up (with the cute spatula you also get) and warm it in your hands, the sorbet-like texture turns in to an oil. The texture kind of reminds me of coconut oil.

So what does it claim? This one-step multi-purpose cleanser would be the first step in your night time routine (if you would follow the K Beauty regime). It does act like a makeup remover, but also works to keep your skin in its best condition. It supposed to give you multiple pre-skincare benefits to help tighten pores, clear debris, rehydrate and soften fatigue-looking skin.

Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, PEG -10Isostearate, Polyethylene, Butylene Glycol, Water, Rubus Suavissimus (Raspberry) Leaf Extract, Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Extract, Aspalathus Linearis Leaf Extract, Viscum Album, (Mistletoe) Leaf Extract, Angelica Polymorpha Sinensis Root Extract, Carica Papaya, (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Malpighia Glabra (Acerola) Fruit Extract, Epilobium, Angustifolium Leaf Extract, BHT, Butylparaben, CI 16255, CI 15985, Fragrance

SU:M 37 - Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick

This is a twist-up tube with a solid "bar" that will give you tons of washes worth. It contains 90% natural ingredients and also has fermented damask rose extract which gives the product a lovely natural floral scent. Another cool thing is that it contains specks of actual rose petals. Yum!

What does it do?

Since you need to massage this stick on your face (and since it has texture from the petals) it works as a gentle exfoliator and helps with circulation and skin brightening. The fermented ingredients is beneficial for the skin as they naturally create amino acids such as collagen, and increases cell vitality. The gentle formula is also free from artificial colours, parabems and synthetic preservatives, which makes it suitable for all skin types.

Ingredients: Glycerol, Water, Orange Peel Oil, Lime Peel Oil, Lemon Peel Oil, Green Tea Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Basil Oil, Ylang Ylang Flower Oil, Majoram Oil, Fermented Damask Rose Extract, Apricot Seed Oil, Olive OIl, Sunflower Oil, Betaine, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Camellia Oil, Tocopheral, Rose Flower Water, Potassium Hydroxide, Lauryl Betaine

It might be still early to have an opinion about these, but just for the fact that they have made my night time routine so much more enjoyable, it is worth talking about them. Both of them have a heavenly scent which makes it feel like you are in a spa getting pampered, and who doesn't love that? Another plus are the textures. They both feel really nice, especially the Banila cleanser. When warming it in your hands the balm turns in to a clear oil, much like coconut water, and melts away all of your makeup. It doesn't leave your skin with an oily residue though, something coconut oils can do. It just makes your skin feel really clean and smooth like a baby butt!

The stick cleanser from SUM:37 is just such a clever little gem. The graininess of the product feels really nice on the skin, not too rough but still feels like it's doing good for your circulation. It also foams up really nice and is really easy to wash off. This company is just a really cool company, and has many other companies following them in their footsteps for all the cool techniques and formulations they have. And all-in-all good purchase!

So so far, I like them both a lot and they are total MUSTS for me. The combination of these two together feels really nice and they are both gentle enough to not strip your skin at all.

I'm going to keep adding them in to my routine and will hopefully continue loving them. Will keep you guys updated!
